Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress is known for her role as her character of Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama 'Providence" and Dr. Lane Hunter in the medical drama "The Resident.' She is also popular for playing the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama 'CSI: NY" as Dr. Lane Hunter at the medical drama "The Resident.' She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series 'Guiding Light'.
